Appl invited from Indian students for Fulbright
New Delhi, July 3: The United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI) has invited applications from outstanding Indian students for the International Fulbright Science and Technology Award for next year.
Approximately 25 awards for Ph.D study in science, technology or engineering at top US institutions has been announced for candidates worldwide with fully-funded grants for up to three years.
Touted as the most prestigious international scholarship in science and technology, the award is sponsored by the US State Department.
Fields of study include aeronautics and astronomics or aeronautical engineering, astronomy or planetary sciences, biology, chemistry, computer sciences or engineering, environmental science, geology and mathematics.
Two candidates from India will be nominated by USEFI.
The last date for receipt of applications is July 31, USEFI said.
