Ahmedabad, June 28 (UNI) A police inquiry was ordered by a local court today into a complaint filed against two Pakistani artists for allegedly making ''adverse'' remarks against a Schedule Caste community in an episode of the 'Great Indian Laughter Challenge' TV show.

The court had yesterday dismissed a petition, filed by Jitendra Solanki against Star One television channel, jury Shekhar Suman, Navjot Singh Sidhu, film star Sunil Shetty and Pakistani contestants Ali Hasan and Irfan Malik, saying that the matter could not be entertained, as the complaint has not been filed by any member of the community concerned.

But today, it ordered a police inquiry after another complaint was filed on the same lines by one Harshad Solanki, who belongs to the community.

The Metropolitan Judge asked the police to investigate the complaint.

Solanki's advocate said the duo had made some ''adverse'' remarks against the backward caste in an episode aired on June 16.

The complaint has been filed under Section 294 (A) and the Atrocities Act.
