Bomb kills 30 near market south of Baghdad -police
HILLA, Iraq, June 26 (Reuters) A bomb near a crowded market today killed at least 30 people in Hilla, a mainly Shi'ite town south of Baghdad, police sources said.
There were few details available. It was one of the bloodiest attacks since the killing of al Qaeda leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in a US air strike on June 7. Hilla has seen a number of heavy death tolls in bombings over the past two years.
