USD eases against Rupee, closes at Rs 46.12/13 per USD

Mumbai, June 23 (UNI) The US dollar eased against the rupee at Rs 46.12/13 per dollar at the forex exchange market here today.

Earlier, the Indian currency opened at the three week's low of Rs 46.22/25 per USD, which was less by 10 paise compared to the previous close of Rs 46.13/14 per USD, said a RBI spokesperson.

RBI fixed the Reference Rate at Rs 46.20 per USD today.

Rupee also fared well against sterling pound: Rupee vs Pound Sterling was at Rs 84.00/02 per pound at the close of the market today.
