Two booked under Wildlife Protection Act

Hardwar, June 24 (UNI) Police have arrested two people and recovered 29 horns of swamp deer, cheetal and sambhar from them.

Police sources today said a decoy customer was sent to Babu and Dadu Ram Baba of village Tatwala following a tip-off.

The accused were caugth red-handed last night as they brought the horns for sale, the sources added.

Station officer Y S Bhadoria told UNI that a case under section 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act of India, 1972 has been registered against them.
