Three women injured in lightning in Junagadh

Rajkot, June 24 (UNI) Three women working at a farm were injured when lightning struck them at Khanderi village in Una Taluka of Junagadh district yesterday.

The women -- Puniben Ramsi (18), Daiben Nathu (45) and Kanchanben (45) -- were busy farming when lightning struck them.

They have been admitted to Una hospital with burn injuries.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rainfall accompanied with high velocity winds and lightning lashed Una, Diu and its surronding areas yesterday, resulting in considerable fall in day's temperature, a report from Junagadh said.
