TDP leader joins Cong

Hyderabad, June 24 (UNI) Ahead of the polls to Panchayatraj bodies in Andhra Pradesh on June 28 and July two, former TDP legislator Vasudeva Rao today joined the ruling Congress, along with his followers.

Pradesh Congress Chief K Keshava Rao, who along with Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy welcomed the former MLA from Ramayanpet in Medak district into the party, told reporters at the ''Gandhi Bhavan'', party, state headquarters that the latter was attracted to the party impressed with the programmes and policies of the Congress under the leadership of Ms Sonia Gandhi.
