Tamil writer Chitti dead

Chennai, June 24 (UNI) 'Chitti', a noted figure in Tamil literature, has died.

P G Sundararajan, 96, who went under the nom de plume 'Chitti', was a popular contributor to the Tamil journal 'Manikodi' and penned several novels too. Among them were 'Nadanthai Vazhi Kaveri', written along with T Janakiraman, and 'Thamizh Novel' and 'Thamizhil Sirkathai', authored along with S Sivapathasundaram.

He was the editor of several journals.
