Somnath Chatterjee leads delegation to Germany

New Delhi, June 24 (UNI) A ten-member delegation led by Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today left for a week-long tour of Germany.

During the visit, the delegation will have a wide ranging discussions with the top leaders of the German political hierarchy.

Among others, they will meet the Federal President, Federal Chancellor and the President of the Bundestag (German Parliament), the Lok Sabha Secretariat said.

Mr Chatterjee would also unveil a bust of Mahatma Gandhi in the Bundestag.

Besides Berlin, the delegation will also visit Hannover.

The delegation includes Mr Devendra Prasad Yadav, Mr Mohan Rawale, Mr Venkatesh Naik, Mr Ram Singh Kaswan, Mr Kalraj Mishra, Mr Santosh Bagrodia and Mr Nakul Das Rai (all MPs) Lok Sabha Secretary-General P D T Achary and Lok Sabha Additional Secretary P K Sandhu.
