Slight quake hits Kutch

New Delhi, June 24 (UNI) A mild earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale shook parts of Gujarat's Kutch region early today, Indian Meterological Department here said.

The tremor took place at 0249 hrs with the epicentre located at 23.7 degree North latitude and 70.0 degree East longitude in Kutch.

However, there was no report of any damage to the property or life.
