Russia's Lysenko reclaims world hammer record

MOSCOW, June 24 (Reuters) Russia's Tatiana Lysenko set a world record in the women's hammer with a throw of 77.41 metres at the Znamensky memorial athletics meeting today.

The 22-year-old reclaimed the record from compatriot Gulfiya Khanafeyeva, who threw 77.26 metres at the Russian national championships in Tula two weeks ago.

Lysenko set the previous mark of 77.06 in Moscow last July.
