Pregnant tiger found died in BR Hills forest range

Mysore, June 24 (UNI) A six-year-old pregnant tigress was found dead at K Gudi in B R Hills forest range in the neighbouring Chamarajanagara district today.

Forest officials said that the carcass of the tigress was found by the roadside.

The postmortem revealed that the tigress was carrying six foetus in its womb and it might have died last night. One of the foetus was found infected and it was suspected that this was the reason for its death, officials added.
