Police solve Defence Colony attempted robbery case

New Delhi, June 24 (UNI) Police today claimed to have resolved a case of attempted robbery in the house of senior citizens in South Delhi within 24 hours with the arrest of three people.

Laxman Chaudhary (36), Shambhu Pandey (23) and Vighan Tiwari (19) were arrested yesterday evening deom Sangam Vihar.

Police said Chaudhary, working as domestic help in Lt Gen (retd) Jitender Sood's Defence Colony residence, was missing since Mrs Sood was attacked by two people in the house during wee hours on Friday.

The Soods had suspected Chaudhary's role in the incident.

The other accused had also worked as domestic help in the same house earlier.
