PCB appoints committee to review suspect bowlers
Lahore, June 24 (UNI) Pakistan has appointed an eight-member Bowling Action Committee headed by Mudassar Nazar and comprising among others Waqar Younis and Aqib Javed to review the suspect actions of 52 bowlers, who were reported during the last domestic season.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will hold a meeting to discuss the implementation of its policy on suspect bowling actions on June 26 at the National Cricket Academy here, the PCB said in statement.
The committee will also attend the meeting to discuss the remedial measures for such bowlers. Other members of the committee are Iqbal Qasim, Anwer Khan, Nazir Junior, Khizar Hayat and Shahid Aslam.
