Minister's cousin killed

Sagar MP, June 24 (UNI) A cousin of Madhya Pradesh Cooperatives Minister Gopal Bhargava was today gunned down at a resthouse in Gadha Kota in this district, police said.

According to preliminary reports, Mr Rajendra Bhargava (50), Mr Gopal's paternal brother, had gone to resolve a dispute between two contractors under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojna when accused contractor Makhan Kurmi took out his gun and opened fire.

Mr Rajendra was killed on the spot,police said.
