Man, parents arrested following death of 10-yr-old maid

Mumbai, June 24 (UNI) Police at Oshiwara here have arrested three members of a family for alleged sexual assault and murder of a 10-year-old girl.

According to police, the victim hailing from Bhopal, was working in the house of Vinod Shobraj Gajaria (64) in Lokhandwala flat in Western suburbs. She was found hanging there on Thursday.

Police said the postmortem report indicated sexual assault and that she died of suffocation, as she was allegedly gagged.

Following these revelations, police yesterday arrested Vinod, his wife Madhu Gajaria (60) and their son Rajendra Gajaria (28).
