Lok Adalat settles loan cases

Patna, Jun 24 (UNI) Cases relating to bank loans, involving nearly Rs 70 lakhs, were settled by a special Lok Adalat organised here today.

Six nationalised banks participated in this special Lok Adalat organised by district legal service authority in Patna civil court.

Altogether Rs 9.92 lakhs were recovered on spot by settling 87 loan cases involving about Rs 70 lakhs.

Cases were heard by eleven benches consisting 22 judicial officers and 11 lawyers.

District and Sessions Judge of Patna Mandhata Singh and secratary M K Roy were present on the occasion.
