Kamal Nath to address India-UK Business Leader forum

New Delhi, Jun 24: A high-profile government and business delegation, led by Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Kamal Nath, Minister of Science and Technology Kapil Sibal and DIPP Secretary Ajay Dua will represent India at the '2nd Annual India-UK Business Leaders' Forum on June 27 in London.

Mr Nath will also release a report 'Going Global: India Inc in UK' on the occasion. The report focuses on case studies of successful Indian companies operating in the UK.

Through the forum, the 'India Everywhere' campaign, after successful stops at Davos, Hannover and Tokyo, will also move to the UK. The theme of the forum revolves around innovation, investment and infrastructure'- the key priority areas for India's growth.

The forum will provide a strong platform to showcase India as an attractive investment destination especially in the area of infrastructure where the UK, being the financial powerhouse of the world, can partner with India.

The forum will bring together the highest levels of government and business leaders to seek areas of mutual cooperation.

The event is being co-organised by the Commonwealth Business Council (CBC), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), UK Trade and Investment and Indian government.

An 18-member CEO delegation including Bharti Enterprises CMD Sunil Bharti Mittal and Tata Sons Ltd Chiarman Jamshed J Irani led by CII president R Seshasayee will also participate at the forum.
