India, Pak border meeting in July in Munabao

Barmer, Jun 24: The flag meeting between top officials of Border Security Force (BSF) and Pakistan Rangers would be held in Munabao in the second half of July.

The quarterly meeting would discuss issues like border activities on the mid-western borders and security matters.

According to sources, the Thar Express between Munabao in India and Khokrapar in Pakistan has helped cement the ties between both the countries. The BSF has raised the issue of Pakistan building a platform on Zero Line.It is expected that the flag meeting would discuss this particular issue.

The meeting would also discuss ways to strengthen joint patrolling and also discuss steps to curb inadvertent border crossings.
