Haryana police recovers Rs 107 crore looted property

Chandigarh, June 24 (UNI) The Haryana Police recovered looted property worth Rs 107.86 crore by arresting 4,000 culprits in the state within a fortnight.

A police spokesman said as many as 3,195 cases had also been registered against law breakers involved in petty cases during the fortnight ending on June 15.

Police nabbed six criminal gangs involved in dacoity, motor vehicle theft and burglary. It also arrested seven proclaimed offenders and 70 bail jumpers.

Police also succeeded in solving 288 cases out of 896 registered by arresting 399 persons involved in different crimes like robbery, dacoity and crime against property.
