Four arrested for murder of boy

Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, Jun 24: Police today arrested four people, three of a family and a 'godman' at Arasadikuppam village in connection with the murder of a boy.

According to police, the body of the boy was found in a forest near here on May 13.

The arrested were Rajavel, his wife Vasantha, elder son Krishna Raj and godman Kadeeresan. A search was on for two other sons of Rajavel.

The boy was murdered by the family as a 'godman' Kadeereshan of Sethayarthop asked them to conduct a human sacrifice to reap wealth and success in life.
