CCTv cameras to watch Shahabuddin in jail
Patna, June 24 (UNI) Bihar home department has decided to install closed circuit cameras in the cell of RJD MP Md Shahabuddin at Siwan jail to watch his activities.
Official sources said here that the decision was taken to keep a close watch on the MP to ascertain whether he was seriously ill or it was just a ''drama'' to ''delay'' the ongoing trial of the cases pending against him.
There was much hue and cry that Md Shahabuddin was so seriously ill that he cannot walk, said the source adding that the cameras would help in assessing the actual situation.
Meanwhile, a team of experts submitted its report to the state government on health conditions of the MP.
The team had examined the MP in Siwan jail yesterday.
