Ansal to invest 2000 cr in residential townships
Mumbai, June 24 : Ansal Housing&Construction (AHCL) has finalised plans to invest about Rs 20,00 crore towards launching residential township 'Ansal Town' across seven cities in the country.
Announcing this, Ansal Housing's press release named those cities as - Agra, Indore and Jammu considered tier II cities and the tier-III cities are Rewari, Karnal, Meerut and Ghaziabad. Also, the company will be marketing a range of built-up houses, independent plots and apartments for the premium end of the market.
The company is coming up with Ansal Town in Agra, a mini township of 130 acres next month. With total dwellings units of 1,250 valued at Rs 200 crore, it will soon be followed by the launch of Ansal Town in Indore in August. Ansal Town in Indore is a 60-acre project with about 1,200 dwelling units, valued at Rs 250 crore.
In addition to this, residential township in Jammu will be spread over 125-acres, valued at Rs 200 crore and will be launched by September.
The theme of Ansal township envisages the concept of modern living by offering varied amenities like clubhouse with a swimming pool, commercial centers, landscaped gardens with children's play area, schools and playgrounds.
In order to offer an international lifestyle to the residents of Ansal town, the company has already tied up with GE to provide international quality lighting solutions.
Commenting on the development, AHCL president Kushagr Ansal said, ''Ansal housing aims to develop residential townships in Tier II cities that will be designed and built to match international standards. The company would be launching seven such townships with an investment of Rs 2,000 crore covering an area of 1,400 acres in a phased manner.''
