Accused hangs himself before trial

Agartala, June 24 (UNI) An accused, who was to be produced before court today, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in the police custody in Tripura's west district.

Police here said the accused after murdering his wife on Thursday had been absconding and was arrested yesterday at Briddhanagar under Ranirbazar police station.

Investigations are on, police added.
