28 IAS officers transferred in Bihar
Patna, June 24 (UNI) In a major administrative reshuffle, the state government transferred 28 IAS officers including 11 commissioner rank, 17 district magistrates and additional secretary rank officials.
Official sources said today that Land reforms commissioner G S Dutt was made Director-General, administrative training institute while commissioner of departmental inquiry S P Keshav would take over as new Commissioner of Land reforms. Mr Keshav, would, however continue to hold his present charge.
The IG, Registration, Anil Kumar has been made member of planning board while co-operative secretary-cum-commissioner B B Srivastav would be the new IG, Registration. Managing Director of Bihar State Tourism Development Commissioner (BSTDC) Manoj Srivastav has been made Additional Industrial Development Commissioner. He will continue to hold the charge of MD, BSTDC.
Project Director, AIDS Control, S P Sinha has been promoted as Excise Commissioner.
Among the district magistrates, DM of Saran, A N Singh is new Project Director, AIDS control. Director, Welfare Prabhat Kumar Sah will take over as district magistrate of Saran.
The Additional Secretary, Cabinet Vigilance, Upendra Kumar Rai has been made the DM of Araria replacing Bhirgunath Trivedy who has been made Director, Panchayati Raj. DM of Gaya, Sandeep Pounrik has been made Additional Secretary, Finance while district magistrate of Bhojpur, Jitendra Srivastav has been sent to Gaya in the same capacity.
