Three held, spurious foreign liquor seized

Hyderabad, Jun 23 (UNI) The sleuths of Task Force (South Zone) today raided a premises near Kalapather here and arrested three persons who were illegally preparing and selling spurious foreign liquor.

The accused Mukkaram Hussain (41), Md Sarwar (40) and Md Arif (43), with Mukkaram as the kingpin of the racket, were supplying the spurious foreign liquor in the names of popular brands to known customers from a rented house. They would pack the spurious liquor in empty foreign liquor bottles with new bottle caps obtained from Mumbai.

Police seized 41 bottles of the spurious liquor.
