Syndicate Bank launches Public Floats for publicity

Manipal, Karnataka, June 23 (UNI) The public sector Syndicate Bank today launched Public Floats (publicity on mobile vans) to popularise its various products.

Launching the floats at the bank's head office here, its Chairman and Managing Director C P Swarnakar said the floats, which would criss-cross the State, would soon be introduced in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and also northern States.

He said the floats, launched on an experimental basis, would help to create awareness among the public about the bank's various product lines.

During the extraordinary general meeting of the bank, three Directors have been elected to the Board. The new Directors were Messrs A B Nagappa (Chennai), former Executive Director of IOB, Bhaskar Rao (Hyderabad), Chartered Accountant, and Bhoopender Singh (Delhi), a Government nominee.
