Students organise protest rally

Vijayawada, June 23 (UNI) Students of the government dental college here who are on strike since June 16 in support of their demand of ouster of the principal, organised a protest rally again today.

The students who shouted slogans against the college principal S J Wesley, also submitted a memorandum to sub-collector Bhanu Prasad on the issue.

The students have been protesting against alleged harrassment by the principal and lack of proper infrastructure in the college.

Political parties and student organisations have expressed their solidarity with the agitating students.
