Six robbers arrested from Kashmiri Gate

New Delhi, June 23 (UNI) The Delhi Police have arrested six robbers of a gang involved in several cases of armed robbery and murder in the past one year.

The six gangsters were arrested on June 21 by a special team of the Crime Branch after a brief shootout at Kashmiri Gate, where they had gone to rob a businessman of the Chandni Chowk area, police said today.

Among several cases, the gangsters had been involved in a robbery of several lakhs at a jewellery showroom at Bhajanpura on September 21 after shooting at the owner who ssutained a bullet injury in the leg.
