Shahabuddin appears in court

Siwan, Bihar, June 23 (UNI) Controversial RJD MP Md Shahabuddin was today produced in the special court, set up inside the jail.

Md Shahabuddin was produced before special judge B B Gupta in connection with a case related to Arms Act.

The matter would be heard again on July 7.

Meanwhile, a team of five specialist doctors from Patna visited Siwan jail and examined the incarcerated Parliamentarian for over an hour.

Later, civil surgeon Veena Kumari told newspersons that neither the doctors made any comment on the line of treatment being given to Md Shahabuddin nor did they give any other suggestion.

Md Shahabuddin had been shifted to Siwan jail from Bhagalpur central jail for quick trial of all 42 criminal cases pending against him.

The MP was allegedly suffering from severe back pain.
