One killed, 30 injured in accident

Thrissur, Jun 23 (UNI) One person was killed and 30 others injured when a private bus collided with a lorry at Kanippayur near Kunnamkulam today.

The deceased was identified as Arumuham (65), a passenger from Edappal. He was proceeding to a private medical college hospital here for treatment.

The injured were admitted to a hospital in Kunnamkulam.

The mishap occured at the same spot where 15 persons were killed recently in another major road accident.
