Infiltration bid foiled in Poonch
Jammu, June 23 (UNI) An infiltration bid by militants was foiled by security forces at Rani Nallah in Poonch district today.
An official spokesman said troops noticed a group of six militants sneaking into this side from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) early this morning.
When challenged and asked to surrender, militants retreated to PoK. Later, security forces recovered huge cache of arms and amunition including three AK 47 rifles, five magazines, 130 rounds of ammunition, three pistols, five mines, 28 detonators, 30 hand grenades, 28 antennas, two satellite phones, five radio set and six wireless sets.
