Father stabs his children to death.

Dehradun, June 23 (UNI) In a gruesome incident a father allegedly stabbed his two children to death and tried to kill himself by cutting his throat here today.

He was admitted in the hospital in serious condition.

According to police sources, Madhusudan Sharma, resident of Kaulagarh, brutally stabbed his six month old daughter Anishka and five-year-old son Vibhav allegedly with a sharp knife, instantly killing them before trying to kill himself by cutting his throat.

All the three were rushed to Doon Hospital by Madusudan's father and neighbours. The two children were declared brought dead by hospital authorities. Madusudan was admitted to the hospital and his condition was stated to be serious.

The Mother of deceased children had gone to bazar when the incident took place.

According to the sources, Madhusudan, who left his job as Roadways conductor one year before, was unemployed and suffered from depression.
