Chargesheet filed against Abhishek Kasliwal

Mumbai, June 23 (UNI) Three months after Abhishek Kasliwal, the scion of the promoters of Sriram mills who was arrested on the charge of raping a middle-aged woman in the mills compound here, the police has filed chargesheet against him in a Metropolitan Magistrate court at Bhoiwada.

Police has filed 250-page chargesheet involving 15 witnesses in the case in the court of Magistrate B Waghmare yesterday. Among the witnesses three are eyewitnesses.

The chargesheet also contains the forensic reports, medical and chemical analysis reports of used condoms found in the car and reports of narco-analysis tests conducted on the accused in a Bangalore laboratory.

According to prosecution, Kasliwal had offered a lift to the victim in his car at Kala Ghoda in south Mumbai and promised to drop her at Mumbai Central station. Instead, he took her to Sriram mills compound and raped her repeatedly.

Kasliwal (27) was granted bail on April 18 after lower court rejected his plea twice.
