Bicskei appointed manager of Ujpest
BUDAPEST, June 23 (Reuters) Ujpest have appointed Bertalan Bicskei as manager, the Hungarian first division club announced today.
He replaces Geza Meszoly, who was fired earlier this month after defeat on the final day of the season cost Ujpest the league title and they finished runners-up to Debrecen.
Bicskei, 61, has had two spells in charge of Hungary and has also previously coached Kispest-Honved, MK Budapest and Gyori ETO.
Ujpest play FC Vaduz of Liechtenstein in the UEFA Cup first qualifying round in July.
