Ashwani Kumar flays MP Govt for changes in school curriculum

New Delhi, June 23 (UNI) Minister of State for Industry Ashwani Kumar today criticised the Madhya Pradesh Government for removing chapters on Jawahar Lal Nehru and Kamla Nehru from the school curriculum.

'' This is an affront to the sensitivity of the nation as a whole.

Such loathsome attempts by the BJP to diminish the contribution and sacrifices of the stalwarts of our freedom movement expose yet again the low and sectarian politics of the BJP,'' Mr Ashwani Kumar said in a statement here.

He warned the BJP that any ''transgression'' by it of the principles of political morality will be resisted by the Congress as a ''party of the freedom movement with the full support of the masses''.
