Anti-human trafficking squads along Indo-Nepal border
Siddharthnagar, June 23 (UNI) Anti-human trafficking squads are being formed along the 68-km long Indo-Nepal border passing through the district.
Official sources today said the squads would be formed at all the 72 villages along the porous border in Siddharthnagar.
A large number of Nepali women and children are smuggled in the country from unconventional entry points, who later find way to Indian metros or the Gulf countries.
Meanwhile, village defence committees and village guards have been asked to cooperate with the squads.
