New Delhi, June 23 (UNI) After a year-long truce, the Ambani brothers are heading for yet another spat, this time over the Rs 40,000 crore SEZ project being promoted by Mukesh Ambani-controlled Reliance Industries.

ADAG Chief Anil Ambani has shot off protest letters to Reliance Industries Ltd and the Haryana State Industrial Development Corporation, alleging that the agreement for the mega SEZ violates the non compete clause of the peace-accord between the two brothers, sources said.

As per the split agreement between the two Ambanis, the brothers were not supposed to compete with each other in their respective areas of businesses.

The reliance ind spokesperson, however, has said that the Mukesh Ambani group has not violated any principle of the agreement between the two brothers.

''RIL has fulfilled all its commitments and obligations. It will follow the same principle in future as well,'' the spokesperson said.

The area of power generation falls within the ambit of ADAG and the senior Ambani is required to respect the terms of agreement, sources said.

Mr Anil Ambani has asked both RIL and the Haryana government to change the terms of agreement seeking removal of the power plant from the proposed SEZ.

The younger Ambani has already announced a mega project for setting up a power plant at Dadri in Uttar Pradesh.
