Rajesh Jewellers to supply 47,400 gold coins to Canara Bank
Bangalore, June 22 (UNI) Leading gold jewellery exporters Rajesh Exports Ltd has bagged an order from Canara Bank to produce 47,400 gold coins to be presented to its employees on the occasion of the bank's centenary celebrations.
The city-based export house won the Rs 25 crore contract in a bidding, in which well known entities like India Government Mint, MMTC and Titan Industries had participated. Rajesh Exports had secured the order based on its superior manufacturing capabilities, a company release here said today.
Rajesh Exports Chairman Rajesh Mehta said ''this order proves the ability of the company to supply high quality gold products at competitive rates. Further, the company has secured an export order worth Rs 231 crore of 22-carat designer jewellery from Gold Star Jewellery Pvt Ltd of Singapore. It had earlier successfully executed orders worth Rs 124 crore to the Singapore company, which had led to the repeat order. With these orders, the company's current book position stands at Rs 1,134 crore.'' UNI RS GD SB1635
