Malini Ramani allowed to go to South Africa for fashion show

New Delhi, June 21: The Delhi High Court today granted permission to Malini Ramani, one of the prime witnesses in the Jessica Lall murder case, to visit South Africa for a fashion show.

Vacation judge Justice Geeta Mittal granted permission to Malini, despite stiff opposition from the prosecution who said that criminal case against her, it was improper that she be allowed to leave the country.

The court, while granting permission asked Malini to furnish a personal bond of Rs five lakh while directing her to surrender the passport of her parents.

It also directed Malini to furnish before it a copy of the bail obtained by her in the alleged criminal case in 2000.
