Family decides to free Kanshi Ram from alleged control of Mayawati

Jalandhar, June 21 (UNI) The family of former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) President Kanshi Ram has decided to ''liberate him'' from the alleged control of party supremo Mayawati.

Talking to reporters here today, Mr Ram's brother Dilbara Singh said the family members have resolved to float '' Kanshi Ram Commando Force'' for the purpose, adding they wanted Mr Kanshi Ram with them.

He alleged that Ms Mayawati's men had misbehaved and roughed him up and other family members when they tried to meet Mr Kanshi Ram at Ms Mayawati's residence about a fortnight ago.

Mr Singh condemned BSP state leadership for not supporting the cause of the family of Mr Ram.
