Syntensia to spread to 5 new cities, R-D centre in B'lore

Bangalore, June 15 (UNI) Bullish on the Indian market, the Sweden-based Syntensia AB, a pioneer in subscription-based security-on-demand solution, today announced the expansion of its presence in five cities, besides opening its Research and Development (R and D) Centre here.

Already present in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh and Pune, Syntensia would now establish its presence in Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kochi and Kolkata, Country Head Anil Zuitshi said in a release here.

He said ''The White Knight appliance and the security-on-demand model of Syntensia has an immense potential in India. Ever since Syntensia's launch in India, there has been a great inflation in our customer base and we believe, by the end of this quarter, we should have approximately 100 customers. This success strengthens our belief of India as the most preferred destination for the Syntensia R and D centre.'' Syntensia planned to establish the R and D centre and Global Support centre in city within six months. The centre would focus on research in advanced product design, customisation, analysis and testing.

Commenting on the R and D centre, Mr Zuitshi said ''The setting up of the centre is a proof of Syntensia's continued commitment to India and a step to leverage the availability of the high quality talent to our benefit.'' UNI VK RG TS1534
