Shimla, Jun 15 (UNI) Not satisfied with the inquiry officer probing the alleged irregularities in the pre medical test (PMT), two aggrieved students have written a letter to Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, seeking his intervention in the matter.

In their letter to the chief justice, Akarshan Chauhan and Drupad Katoch claimed that they were not able to qualify the examinations as the question paper was leaked in a selected area one day before the examination.

Parents of students who had appeared for the state's PMT examination have alleged irregularities in the examination, saying several students of a single area were selected, while students who had qualified national examinations had failed to pass the state entrance examination.

They have called upon the Chief Justice to look into the matter so that genuine students like them do not lose faith in the democratic set up.

Their letter was also supported with newspaper advertisements, which, they claim, were released to allure people to ''buy medical seats''.

Earlier, a group of students, who met the inquiry officer, expressed dissatisfaction with the inquiry, saying the committee did not hear them properly and that was why they had approached the Chief Justice of the High Court.
