New Delhi, June 15 (UNI) The Supreme Court today permitted Delhi Bar Association (DBA) -Tees Hazari Court- President Rajiv Khosla and Secretary Sanjiv Nasiar to attend courts to discharge their professional duties.

The Delhi High Court had banned the entry of 25 Tees Hazari advocates after they allegedly indulged in hooliganism on the court premises and roughed up some of the judicial officers during their strike against transferring some courts to the newly constructed District court complex in Rohini.

The ban order against others, barring three including the two petitioners, was, however, withdrawn by the High Court after they apologised to the court.

A vacation bench comprising Justices Arijit Pasayat and Altamas Kabir modified the High Court order only to the extent that the petitioners shall be permitted to enter the court premises to attend their cases.

The court, however, made it clear that the two shall not indulge in any other activities in terms of the High Court orders.

The court also directed the two to file an undertaking in the High Court to the effect that they shall not get involved in any other activities on the court premises.

The work in Tees Hazari and Rohini District Courts remained paralysed for over three and a half months due to the strike called upon by lawyers who were oopposing the shifting of courts to Rohini.

The advocates were banned from entering within the radius of 500 m of the court complex.
