More than ten dead in Afghan blast

Kandahar, Afghanistan, June 15 : A powerful explosion killed more than 10 people and wounded 15 in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar today, police said.

The blast happened during the rush hour in the heart of the city.

The target appeared to be a mini-bus carrying labourers working for U S-led military forces, police said.
