MCD to hold camps for collecting property tax

New Delhi, Jun 15 (UNI) To ensure that property tax payers do not face any inconvenience, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is organizing Mega-Camps to provide facilities for depositing property tax.

While residents of the City Zone, Pitampura Zone and Joshi Colony can deposit their property tax at a camp on June 19, for those residing in Civil Line Zone, Shahdara (South) Zone and South Zone, a camp will be held on June 20, for Najafgarh Zone, Keshavpuram Zone and Shahdara (North) Zone on June 21, Narela Zone, Sadar Paharganj Zone and Central Zone on June 22 and West Zone, Rohini Zone and Karol Bagh Zone on June 23, an MCD release said.

The senior officers of Property Tax Department will be present at these camps and provide necessary help and guidance to property tax payers. In case, Resident Welfare or Market Associations request for organisation of Camps at their premises, then MCD will hold Camps on their demand.

The last date for payment of property tax with 15 per cent rebate is June 30.

To facilitate property tax payers, all Citizen Service Bureaus will remain open on all Saturdays upto June 30 for receiving property tax payments.
