India takes up demolition of temple at Lahore with Pak
New Delhi, June 15: India has taken up with the Pakistani authorities the demolition of 'Krishna Mandir' at Lahore recently.
''We have taken up the matter with the senior officials at the Pakistan High Commission here,'' a spokesman of the External Affairs Ministry said today.
He said both sides were committed to protecting the minority shrines.
Krishna Mandir, supposed to be the last remaining temple at Lahore, was demolished to pave the way for a commercial building.
