Chivas Regal enters Punjab, Chandigarh markets

Chandigarh, June 15: Seagram India today launched Chivas Regal, premium scotch whiskey, in the states of Punjab and Chandigarh.

The brand will be avaliable in the two states at Rs 1800-1900 for 750 ml.

'' We are rolling out the brand in the retail outlets in Punjab and Chandigarh. We will be the first to roll out the 4.5 litre bottle and 50 ml mini Chivas, which will be avaliable in departmental stores,'' Seagram India Assistant Vice President Jagbir Singh Sidhu said .

There will be a total of 150 Chivas Regal retail outlets in Punjab and 40 in Chandigarh, Mr Sidhu said. The brand will also be avaliable in all leading bars, clubs and resturants in the states.

''Key towns in Punjab which will be critical to Chivas Regal are Ludhiana, Amritsar, Patiala and Jalandhar'', Mr Sidhu added.
