12 kg charas recovered from Nepalese women in HP

Kullu, June 15 (UNI) About 12 kg of charas was recovered from two Nepalese women in Manikaran Valley of Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh yesterday, according to police.

Renu Gohar, a Nepalese woman was arrested at Grahan Nallah near Kosal village of the district after police recovered about eight kg of charas from her possession.

Police said Gohar was arrested at about 1715 hrs after they seized a bag containing the contraband.

In another incident, four kg of charas was recovered at about 1815 hrs from the possession of Joon Maya, another Nepalese woman, from the Manikaran Valley in the district.

Police said a case has been registered the NDPS Act has been registered against both the accused at the Kullu Police Station.
