Tantrik arrested for rape of 43-year-old woman

New Delhi, June 14 (UNI) Delhi police today arrested a tantrik from North East Delhi for the rape of a 43-year-old woman.

Fourty-four-year old Abid Ali was arrested from the Gamri area of North East Delhi after the woman, wife of a government servant, lodged a complaint with the police, that the tantrik had raped her several times and was blackmailing her with photographs in compromising positions.

She alleged that her daughter was also raped by Ali.

The woman said that the tantrik, had in September 2005, called her to his house and after mixing something in her drinks, had raped her and then taken nude photographs of her.

Thereafter, he allegedly continued blackmailing her and raped the woman and her daughter several times.
